When I was a teenager, the local hangout was the Wheaton Ice Rink. Friday nights were spent skating counter-clockwise in a giant oval. Years later, I was surprised to find out how much I retained from those days. I took Maryjo to the rink by the Archives on one of our "marathon dates," when we first started dating. I wrote this shortly after.
