On March 10th, 2016, halfway through a 13-day US tour, Cedric Williams and I worked for a couple hours at a converted church in Tupelo, Mississippi.
I used a Guild GAD-30, with a Bill Lawrence humbucker, run through a 1961 Fender Princeton Brownface combo. Cedric used dynamic microphones on my amp and vocals, a pair of condensers pointed at the walls, and another condenser pointed straight up at the 30-foot-high ceiling.
These songs are a collection of tunes I either picked up on the road, or wrote in between the 200 gigs I played in 2015.
All songs were recorded live, with no overdubs.
