about

Much in the same vein as last year's "Winterlight," this is a collection of tunes I play when I'm at home, usually after gigs, or during the day. I spend a lot of my nights with a guitar in my hands, and most of what I play tends to run in the same circles. There's always a new song to write, or an old tune to learn. These pieces, however, are very different from what I play onstage. This is more like writing in a sonic diary, chronicling events and memories.
I've done more traveling in 2016 than any other year I've been alive. I've played 185 shows, I've been on three US tours, I've backpacked through the UK and the Middle East, and climbed mountains in the desert. Now, I'm finally home for the winter, ready to work on the projects next year has in store.
When I was younger, I was taught that one good turn deserves another. That's why 100% of the profits from this release will go to Martha's Table, in an effort to help those in need. This year has been special, and it's been incredibly good to me. This EP is my way of giving back. I hope you enjoy it.
